This Privacy Policy explains how The Right Nerd, LLC (“Inner Scribe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Inner Scribe mobile application, website, CarPlay experience, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

Depending on the features you use, the Services may process audio recordings, transcripts, notes, titles, templates, questions submitted to AI features, action items, decisions, and other content you choose to create or import. You may also provide support communications and account or purchase information where applicable.

2. Device permissions

Inner Scribe may request access to the microphone, speech recognition, notifications, Siri or App Intents, CarPlay-related capabilities, and other device features needed to provide functionality. You can manage permissions in your device settings.

3. On-device processing

Some transcription, intelligence, voice, and organizational features may be performed on your device when the device and operating system support them. Availability can vary by device, language, system configuration, and feature.

4. Information collected automatically

We may collect limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the Services, such as app version, device type, operating system version, crash logs, diagnostics, feature usage, and approximate region.

5. How information is used

• Provide recording, transcription, summarization, organization, search, template, Drive Brief, and related features.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and improve reliability.
• Respond to support requests and communicate service-related information.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable terms.

6. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that process data on our behalf, when you direct us to share content, as part of a business transaction, or when required by law.

7. Retention and deletion

Content is retained only as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No system can guarantee absolute security.

The Services are not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in the relevant jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization.
